Northern Provincial Chief Minister CV Vigneswaran said that the federal is not an obstruction. We have to clarify to the Sinhalese that it is a political strategy that unites the people.
Sampanthan and Sumanthiran should come forward and illuminate the needs of the federal and the political relevance of it to the Sinhalese.
The Northern Provincial Chief Minister said this while answering the weekly question of journalists regarding, “the allegation that presented on behalf of the ITAK saying that you are not bound to your party. The fear that your actions will return to violence is rising in the south”.
These people must understand that giving up on Northeast connection, homeland andthe right to self-determination may bring you a temporary solution.
But what will happen in future? Our uniqueness will be destroyed. Our people will march to foreign countries again.
And South knows how the eruption of the war made the country to receive a high range of debts.
Hence, let our party leaders come together to build the position with Sinhalese on behalf of our people.
The Chief Minister of the Northern Province has urged “the leaders to change their way rather than controlling me”.
