Three decisive discussions will be held today pertaining to the country’s political situation.
President Maithripala Sirisena is due to meet the Parliamentary group of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party this evening.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe is also scheduled to meet members of the United National Party Working Committee for discussions.
A third discussion will take place at the official residence of Former President Parliamentarian Mahinda Rajapaksa with the Parliamentary group that supports the Sri Lanka Podu Jana Peramuna.
Meanwhile Speaker of House Karu Jayasuriya will meet with the President and the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister’s Office said the continuation of the coalition government and the present political situation will be discussed at length.
